William James Center for Research
The William James Center for Research is one of the top 4 Portuguese R&D Centers in Psychology bringing together outstanding research from the Universities of Aveiro (UA) and ISPA - Instituto Universitário (ISPA). One of the goals and expectations of the WJCR is to become a European center of excellence for research and training in communication and sociality; cognitive, affective, and developmental processes; and translational Psychology.
WJRC has two of the best, fully equipped laboratories in the country with state-of-the-art research facilities. Of the 62 registered members of the WJCR, 34 hold PhD degrees (15 PI’s), 22 are PhD students, 9 Research Assistants, a Lab Technician, and a Science Management Fellow.
